I remember when my days were filled with getting my kids to school, Little League, soccer, piano lessons, dance lessons, Cub Scouts, church, PTA, and birthday parties, etc., … and that’s just when they were little. Once they started middle school and high school, the schedules doubled and sometimes tripled.
When the kids were growing up I carried a big expensive planner. It told me what time and where I needed to be almost every moment of the day. My kids called it my “brain.” They were convinced I couldn’t function without it. (They may have been right, but I’m not about to admit it!) Every time we made a mad dash out the door one of the kids would say, “Mom! Do you have your brain?” 
Well, it’s twenty-five or so years later and I still prefer a tangible planner that I can hold in my hand. 
I like the slim, lightweight planners by BusyBodyBook. They’re easy to carry while out and about, but still have all the information that was in my big bulky “brain.”
